Providing an online hub of creativity and collaboration for a new Houston independent record label.
BKZ is a brand new business that needed the works - branding & strategy, logo and brand assets, and a website to establish a memorable online presence.
Problem.
They needed a website that they could easily update, that would serve as a hub for the label's music & creatives, and help them grow their family of artists in the years to come.
Solution.
Webflow to the rescue! We created a custom brand and modern Webflow website to suit and help BKZ get off on the right foot.
Simple, musical logo.
Meaning is important to the owners, so we created a logo packed with story. By combining the letterform "b", the musical curved geometry, and the primary shape of a phoenix as a representation of resurrection & new life - we landed on a logo mark that is clear, versatile, musical, and represents BKZ and the owners' hearts.
Creator-driven design.
This site was designed by creators, for creators. Most importantly, the content needed to be easily digestible and navigable to every site visitor. Simple navigation coupled with in-your-face music elements make it simple to explore and enjoy the art.

Modern & responsive.
The site is unique with a focus on intentionally serving music videos as well as images related to releases & artists/creators. The custom Webflow CMS is set up specifically for their creative needs. Inspired by more modern, 'edgy' designs across the music industry with our own "light in the darkness" brand direction, BKZ has a truly memorable and standout website to call home.
